New Year – New Bloofs

Hi friends and a Happy New Year to you! We are so excited to find out what 2019 has in store for us! While we start writing sessions again to keep that momentum going, we’ve been working hard to spread the word about Circus on Fire, including sending it to quite a few college and independent radio stations. We’re starting to see a few spins here and there, but the best way to get spins is for you to request us at your favorite station. If you listen to any radio stations that are spinning independent artists and you want to hear us on that station, let us know and we’ll send it to them. Currently, the following stations should have it in their possession; it’s just a matter of getting someone there to give it a spin:

We’d also love to see a good old-fashioned review of this album, complete with actual opinions! If you have something you’d like to share about it, a favorite track, a lyric you liked, a riff, a drum detail, anything (!), please feel free to share it here! We may share what you have to say on our FB page for all to read!

Finally, we’ve got a show coming up in March! We are thrilled to be a part of this year’s Hamtramck Music Festival, taking place March 7th, 8th and 9th, all over the city of Hamtramck. We’ll share more details about our slot when it becomes public.

Stay tuned for more happenings and developments and we hope to see you soon!

You’re invited!

The pre-orders are out and the streaming services are starting to get our album.  Soon you’ll be able to get Circus on Fire almost anywhere that you are used to acquiring or hearing your favorite music!  The way we’d most love for you to hear it is on vinyl, which Tony gave special attention to and has a few extra details for audiophiles.  You can snag your very own copy on Saturday night, November 24th, at Ghost Light Hamtramck for our album release party!  Our friends Warhorses and Matthew Parmenter will be joining us!  Click the poster for all the pertinence!

Blueflowers are going to be featured in a forthcoming edition of  the Metro Times. Their latest album is available digitally, TODAY!!

The darkly-dreamy Americana-from-the-Outlands quintet are revamped with a lineup shuffle and some fresh ideas coming into the collaborative songwriting process.  I’m eager for everyone to read the piece, featuring an interview with singer Kate Hinote and guitarist Tony Hamera…
